At a friends yardsale, I found she was selling her childhood bike. A Murray Super Stylin'. She has had this since she was a kid, and it has been kept in the garage ever since. Never left outdoors over night, and if it wasent underneath her, it was on its kickstand. Not too early, but older than me! im guessing 80's??? Dont know very much about it. i got it pretty much for the grips and wheels although i have kinda grown to like it. Brought it home, and immediatly threw the handelbars foward. best part was that it only set me back $5. :D

Then I put some schwinn apes on and it made it considerably more comfortable.

2nd is the Atlas Industrial trike. My Brother bought it awhile back, and i was messing around, doing bunny hops and the frame folded. So its been sitting awhile at my dads shop, waiting to be fixed. So i traded my brother my GT bmx bike for it. i know pretty much next to nothing else on this thing. I plan on using a different frame, maby a ladys cruiser, not shure yet. and get it working.

well, this one im not shure... i may put a seat on the back for an extra person. im also thinking about putting a sofa on it so i can relax and cruise at the same time. i may also turn it into a rickshaw/ pedicab... theres too many ideas swirling in my head.

but i will be getting another trike from the 60s or 70s that i plan on putting a bent fork on it, and maby lower the rear a bit. im also going to put a stereo system on the rear :D everything on the vintage one will be bolt on though so it can be reversible and it can go back to being orignal.

You could always cut the tube on either side of the bend and weld another piece of pipe inside it and weld it up. Personally I am waiting to find a trike rear so I can build my bike mega hauler....A stretched trike with a flatbed long enough to haul a bike. Might make two tie down points so I can haul two side by side.

Bike city: I traded him this

I was the one who broke it anyways, so i just gave him the GT for the trike.

outskirtscustoms: Yeah, i thought about that, burt i thought it would be easier to just get another frame that looks cooler, and swap the rear end.

Sweet, I'd have done the trade just to get my hands on the trike axle. I've been wanting to get one for a bike hauler project I've got in my head.

haha, that sounds awesome! that would be a fun build too.

Yeah I can't wait to get my hands on the parts. It will be used too!

well, if i decide to get rid of it, ill keep you in mind :D

Dose anyone know if the murray has any value?
Thanks, if you do decide to get rid of it just PM me. As far as the Murry goes, normally I can't give bikes like that away. I have chopped lots of them up for parts and sold the frames for scrap.

Yeah as long as it's cheap like that they are worth getting just for parts. If you got a welder you can make mini tandems out of them. and sell them. There's a guy around here that sells a few from time to time on craigslist. I normally strip them of tires, tubes, bearings, bolts, wheels with rim strips, grips, pedals, cranks, sprocket, and chain. Then scrap the frames. Mostly I just give the parts to kids who need them to fix their bikes but it's worth the good karma. I have had countless old Schwinns that rolled on Huffy wheels. It makes it a rider.

As much value as you or someone else places on it, market value, not really, but a clean bike, I would've aired the tires greased it up and given it to a little girl.

The mags on that trike are worth some money, even being trike wheels. I too have an incomplete trike, everything from an old Sun trike except for the trike rear end. Ugh. I know Concord isn't close to Roanoke Rapids, but if you find yourself down this way you can have my trike frame to make yours right.

Green frame, pretty solid, cool headbadge.

haha, that really stinks about the rear end. Thanks for the offer, but i think im gonna do something custom to the frame. Thank you though!

how much would you price the mags? Not planning on selling, but im kinda curious :)

I couldn't give you a price, but I bet for the money you sell them for you could buy a whole lotta 20" girls bikes.
