Hello

Bayou Bengal will not top any engineering marvel list. Simple build of. 24 x 20 muscle bike using a ladies donor bike.
Hope to create a bike to represent Louisiana State University with style and class.
Mechanically sound. Nice color combinations and accessories.
while staying true to the bikes Murray Roots.

Good luck to everyone.

Van Bushnell.

The seat is finished.
Signature Murray Decals shipped.
I was able to remove the headbadge without too much damage from the girls Bike. I will Use slightly larger rivets when I mount.
Custom lettering on Bike I will try reverse screen in white. (That’s plan today..........the plan has changed numerous times).
Gold frame. Purple chainguard
White lettering. All painted.
Murray Decals on seat stay and down tube.

Love that seat! Reminds me of some of the Esso tiger stuff I would get as a kid.

Guard and forks are complete.
This is all paint. No decalss or vinyl. Used left over Aluminum base coat from the Pete Days. The purple is Chrysler Plum Crazy. If you don’t zoom in...... looks great. From 6ft and 6 beers at a LSU tailgate this thing will look mint. I’m on the fence about the grips. Have wait for Gold results on frame.
Bayou Bengal needed a little Bondeaux work. Had a small crack. Will prime again before color.

Awesome paint work. And, I'm pretty sure Louisiana is the only place where they spell Bondo, Bondeaux!
Laissez les bon temps rouler!

I have a college team themed bike working on my self but trying to finish the build off bike first. Looking great I think the grips should look good on there

Back from a trip to Wisconsin and a visit to the Trek custom racing division facility where I got see the new Madone with Shimano Dura Ace electronic shifting components. (14k and you can own it). Frame on Bayou Bengal is finished. Ready for Murray standard Decals. Hope make some real progress on the build this weekend.
