The raw polished metal looks great! Love how it shows off the brazing.

Ready to assemble. Installing bearing cups the only way I know how.

I'm switching up the seat. Not old but has the look. I may break it down and paint the undercarriage.

Crank in. Flipped the sprocket around. I had the bad side showing previously.

Made this to mount the shifter. Wish I had time to etch it. Maybe after the fact.

I'll get the rest together tomorrow and attempt to make a truss rod bracket, because truss rods.

Love the gloss clear over bare. That really shines! Cool detailios too.

Busy day today. Mocked up some truss rods. From a Shelby.

Needed a bracket but this is all I had. A piece of stainless flat stock.

So I drilled some holes.

Drew out the shape I wanted.

Drilled more holes.

Then I connected the dots with my bandsaw.

A lot of grinding and sanding to follow.

Result:

So I have been watching these for a long time and meant to get one for my build. I realized on Thursday that I hadn't done it yet. I clicked "buy it now" on Thursday afternoon, and guess what showed up to my door on Saturday morning.

I was wanting to make my own headbadge. That didn't happen. So my next option was this old Standard badge.

Don't know what it came on, but it's going on a Worksman.

I cleaned it up some. Sorry friends of patina.
