I plan on going next time I'm headed down. I used to live in Mooresville, Lake Norman, Denver all of that area. Now I'm up here closer to the mountains, but Statesville is still less than an hour for me.

Hey dingo, I meant to ask. Were you amazed by the lack of rusted out cars on the roads? :lol: First time i visited Va. from NJ, I was agog, vintage iron everywhere, and no swiss cheese! I recently saw an 80s S-10 on "you drive what" with Michigan plates. The entire bed had collapsed from rust, only the camper shell was holding it together! -Adam
