Another sidehack

No plans to make another one, especially right now while my normal bike shop doings are crazy busy. Someone reached out all the way in Texas for me to build them a side hack for their Sting-Ray moto, how could I not cram it into my work load?

Had to be a bolt on kind so I can ship it... So we begin...

Since I'm making it for someone else and shipping it, I'm near done. Removable bar, tabs for plywood base... No glamor shots

I'm leaving the rest up to Greg, he'll add a platform and bolt it up to his Sting-Ray. I've made a few of these through the years and most ride like the death traps they are, this one feels really stable. I'd say it was my best one yet!

I put a sidecar on a bike once but it didn't ride that well. It actually bent the forks. I put on a set of BMX forks to correct that but still it didn't have a good ride. I lined up the sidecar wheel exactly in line with the rear wheel of the bike, with no toe in. I've been reading about motorcycle sidecars and see they mount the sidecar wheel ahead of the bike's rear wheel and give it some toe in. Have you found what angles work best on your side hacks?
