Howdy;

I found this cool site thru the schwinn forums and I think i'll fit in here well.

I've been a long time ratbiker...before I knew what that meant and probably because I never really had a brand new bike as a kid, they were always put together frankenbikes out of the trash or thrift stores and usually a freespirit ala schwinn typhoon with crappy murry bmx parts and spray painted ugly. :p I now have many bikes and enjoy riding them all...they are not wall displays ...but I can appreciate show bikes too.

about me: 37 father of one 6 month son, married-10th year. Live in Houston Texas.

I'll attemp to post some pics:

Those bikes are Awesome!!! Do u know what the 1st bike is?

dumpster,

I don't know what that bike is. I have had it for along time and don't remember where it came from, I think it had a sweetheart skiptooth chaniring when i got it...but it had also been welded and hammered and hit by a grinder too before i found it. It is a blast to ride...I used it when I went to LSU, there I would park it next to $1000.00+ mountain bikes and tear through the main quad dodging sorority chicks.... I wonder what people thought? Anyway, it's a hella fun bike. :mrgreen:

What you can't see until you get up close is the jerry riggin that's holding this thing together...like zip ties, stove wire, and pipe hangers. Character :p

The bike was probably built before 1936. Looks good though!!
