picked this up earlier this summer, and know pretty much it's a Murray, doing a simple resto on it.. would just like to know the year.. going to sand it and see if i can get a serial.. but not sure there are any Murray charts.. but I know someone here can help me out.. haven't missed yet :wink:

there are screws still in the headtube from a badge, and the bike looks to of been originally blue

They're usually stamped on the brake arm side rear dropout. You can usually tell what it was branded as by the prefix code. "MOS" is usually Murray badged, "MOD 502", Sears, "WG" a Hiawatha, etc. And sometimes you can decipher the year. -Adam
