Re: Almost Winter time....IT'S HERE! SNOW 2-25

I have never ( knock on wood  )
had a problem with the rear slipping out on the ice and snow. The rear is a Felt Thick Brick 24x3 I would love to ran a Berm Master knobby tire
Not sure it would fit especially with screws in it.

Sure would be fun to try.
So far my 200lbs over the tire seems to keep it firm on the ground.

I haven't had a chance to brace it yet. But I do like your idea of using the chain-link fence piece in side the fender.Or even a piece of flat stock bent to the shape of the fender more fender ideas to come.

Random pic from a few weeks ago

Re: Almost Winter time....IT'S HERE! SNOW 2-25

All week long has been snow free. But always seems to be a strong headwind, rode more then a few times this week with a 30 MPH headwind.
Coming home tonight nice light snow and a 11 MPH wind out of the north. Headwind but not bad

A few pics I took next to Finkl Steel.

Those are some awesome pictures Skipton! :D
30 mph head winds, brutal. Glad it eventually lightened up a bit.
