OK, the title may be a bit dramatic, but I've been wanting one of these for years.
I got a brand-new sparkly Screamer in the fall of 1970 (as a reward for good grades, ahem), and have been kicking myself for getting rid of it almost since the day I sold it.
Unfortunately, most that I've come across over the years haven't been in nice enough condition, or the seller wanted a ridiculously high "unobtanium" price for it.
The search is finally over:
I even found a set of turn signals for it like I had on mine way back when:
It's not 100% perfect, but it's the nicest I've seen. A little polishing and adjusting, and it'll be dang near as cool as mine was, uhhh, could that have been 40 years ago!?
I'm already on the hunt for some new redline tires and correct handlebar tape.
I'm so jazzed I can't stand it!
