78 Schwinn Scrambler

My son has had his eye on this bike for a long time. So we are finally going to build it. Nothing too fancy since it's going to be a rider. I got this bike from my cousin. He was the original owner. I loved this bike when he first got it way back then. The plan is to get the frame powder coated. My sons leaning toward the original silver.

Originally we were going to strip this bike for parts. But it was just too nice for that

The original bars and stem are stripped out. I had some CW style bars and bought a eBay stem

I have the original front rim, but my son wanted skyway mags

You're on the path to what 99% of my bikes looked like as a kid...well, except with some off brand mags vs. skyways (couldn't afford) and rattle can instead of powder coat .
