Alright which dept store? If they are that cheap, I think I pick one up!

Might have to cruise by some box stores and see if I can find the same. Worth the wheels alone.

ok, so i got a little distracted.... the temps have not risen above 20 for like two weeks, and have been patiently awaiting parts to be delivered. so the work on the rollfast has been slow.

this is what the target bike looks like as of last night...

19" apes, springer, new tires....

swapped out some fender braces, and moved the front fender to the rear...

it was in the negative temps last night, not including the wind chill. took it for a ride to the store... might put on a different seat... maybe trade tires with the ones on the rollfast...

thanks kev...

not bad for a dept. store bike.... i myself am amazed.
the pictures dont do it justice.
it's funny how a springer, apes, and some tires can change a bike!

i was planning on painting it, but after i primed it, i was hesitant... then my wife saw it and said " you cant paint that! you have to leave it that color!"

it's not really black, but not really gray... some duplicolor primer, i wet sanded between coats...

what is it with people not wanting me to paint bikes?!? :?

Nice transformation. but take the stickers off the cranks.

what!? and ruin the whole look of the bike! :p

(i plan on using a different crank... just put that one back in so i could ride it...)

maybe a White seat?

that looks great!

where would one find a white seat?
the only one i've found is at Nirve, and it's out of stock...

ok..head to Fabric Land and get some Faux Sheep Skin..big and Fluffy..
stitch some Elastic around the perimeter and you have a Big Bad
soft and cumfy Sheep Skin seat cover......
