If you have an ALDI store near you, this looks like a decent stand for $29.99.

I have one. It's pretty decent for $30. Won't hold a massive tanker bike. But it does just fine with my stingrays.
They make the claim that it's rated to hold up to 66lb. I'm not sure how long it would last putting that much weight on it on a regular basis though!

How is the tripping hazards on that one?

As long as you are on the side that the bike is on it's not an issue.

It comes with a wall mount bracket set too so you really could eliminate that hazard if you wanted.

Looks very similar to the stand I have, mine has blue plastic instead of red, the 90 degree bracket is a little different. Works fine. I usually dont put full bikes on it, wheels are stripped off first to lighten things up.

Probably made in the same factory.

$30 is a good deal, even if you end up modifying it.

I picked one up. Way less expensive than my park stand. Its pretty sturdy. Impressive. Comes with a tool rack and handle bar stay. Now I have two stands I always have more than one project going at a time.
