I saw this bike on Ebay last week. It is a 64 Sears Spyder bike. It looks completely original down to the tires. The seat is a Troxel and the under side looks new. It has Coast King Safety Flex tires. I have never seen or heard of them. It looks like minor surface rust and dirt on it. It should look new with a few hours cleaning. I am happy to get this early version of this bike. Here are some pics.

A huge vat of Evaporust! Man, that's a cool bike! I know it won't be an original screen, but maybe you could remove what's left of the chain guard screen and replace it with a vinyl decal? That would really make it pop!

Coast To Coast was a decent sized Hardware store chain that went under in the "80s I believe, Midwest based.
My first bike came from my local C to C back in 1970.
Sweet!!

Love the 65 Murray Wildcats (and other store badges) Checkered seat would be cool on it. :)

Are the rims stamped MO?

Great buy! Can't beat a mint original Troxel solo polo like that!

I'm with CRASH, a new Bruce Crawford decal on the guard and that bike will be killer. Would be neat with a Top Fueler too.

Thanks Rob. It was only 200 dollars so I was happy with that price. The 64 Sears Christmas catalog has a picture of it. I want to redo the guard. I would like to paint it again. If not a decal is fine too.

Awesome.. love the early bikes! When the new wears off lmk

Crazy how great looks on that bike! Awesome idea!

Kool you ended up with my old bike.. I sold it to a buddy of mine that lived local. glad it found a Great home..

The stuff just goes around in circles....lol Did you add the rear wheel or was it on it already. It should have a MO MFG rear wheel right? Were those Coast King tires on it when you got it? I think they could knock 100 dollars off the price when sold.
