As a quick reminder here is the before photo. This was after I literally drug Shelby out of an old bar... Sounds more impressive than rolled it out of a recycled bar made iintostorage shed...

I think it turned out okay. I repainted back to original factory colors. I am keeping original seat and bars so it stays all together.

Nice. Maybe save those green grips too?
1948 was a long time before they started putting warning lines on the stems regarding the minimum safe depth for installation. Is there a rule-of-thumb for that?

I did keep green grips. And no warning line, I did slide the stem down in. I had just stuck it in for the pics.
