up for sale is my 1941 Monark Rocket, it is a great rider. I have probably put about 500 miles on this bike and have never had an issue with it. Someone overpainted the monark maroon at some time in the past, with a red. Not included in the sale are the ding dong bell, the bicycle license on the seat tube and the tires on it. The bike has new departure hubs on front and rear, original drop center rims are maroon with a white pin stripe, an oa bath will make them pop, they look new on the inside. There are no mechanical issues with this bike, however there is a slight crack in the braze from the seat stay to the seat down tube, it can be re-brazed, or left as is. The drop stand is not original, I believe it is off of a Colson, but it works perfectly on this. The front loader is like it was the day I found the bike, only a rusted shell. Somewhere I have the original hub shiners that were on it, they look to be home made, and they are cool, if I can find them, they will ship with it. If not, the hub shiner on the front is all you get. The seat is a single pan troxel, that has been recovered, not much to look at but comfortable. I have had this bike for a few years now, ridden the heck out of it.
