15 minute jobs

I got a NOS shifter cable for the Silver King today. I figured "hey, I might as well put it on now, it'll only take 15 minutes."

3 hours, a tig welder, a trip to the hardware store, and 20 odd tools later................. :roll:

Sounds like work. I hear "It'll only take 30 minutes". Truth was, it was a 2.25hr drive in morning traffic, 3 unanswered calls, 10 minutes of internet cruising to find the answer, a 7 minute call to the manufacturer, and 52 minutes at the stop, then 1hr back to the office to do paperwork I'm 3 weeks behind on because of similar situations, sure it was 30minutes. But the time and a half I get is nice working 55-70hrs a week. Yeah I get it, but if your gonna do it, do it right.
