Now that I've really started... I can't stop!
Thanks, I hope it really translates to something unique in the end, if not then I might as well have painted my '56 JC Higgins flat black, the wheels red, and put white walls on it. :mrgreen:

Looks like the stock guard was plastic like the tank... ugh. I love that your frame isn't chrome, I hate painting chrome.
Doesn't make me wonder, but I've got a few more I can check, haha.
Thanks for that, but I kind of doubt that next years build off will be 99 Walmart choppers with sidecars and 2 tank frame bikes. :roll:

I just thumped it... metal! :shock: This changes EVERYTHING! Now (in my mind) it's a viable part.

Didn't get out to the shop today, Sundays are busy for me. Inside I managed to strip the decals off my '93 GT Bullet and clean up the chrome, and when I rode the tall bike home from church this evening I found 3 bikes mysteriously donated to the yard... it's a normal thing around here... parts... yummy!

I have to give you credit Justin.. I don't see how you can concentrate on more than one bike during the build off! EVERYTHING else seems to be getting neglected around my house right now...

I watched last year during the build off as I pretty much gave all my attention the The 76er and my shop went to pot, I came out with a cool bike, but also a lot of regret that I didn't work on other bikes. I mean, it's a bike, not a car, if I had 2 or 3 days off I could get it all done, so I figure in 3 months I can get my build-off bike done, maybe complete a few others, and as a bonus I've been cleaning my shop at the same time.
