Thanks BA, did what you suggested and also removed a little metal to get the wheel back even more. Seat has been recovered and the badge installed.. bike is ready for xmas morning. :happy:

So i had offered to my son for part of Christmas to restore this bike (Budget restore) His eyes lite up! and was like "yah.. that would be awesome!" Only new parts are the tires and grips.. the wheels and seat were from an other 20" bike. Tires just fit, any tips to get a little more wiggle...

Wicked build! Yes those balance bikes are not cheap here they go for 130-170. So I did as your going to do ($30 bike).. he had his balance at two and half and was riding with pedals by three.. only way to teach your child to ride!

Kool scoot! must be a blast to be able to lean into the corners. I have the same motor on my trike, good little motor. Do you run it with no exhaust? Also noticed you still have the starter on, if you need the extra clearance they pop off real easy. As said previously, need to see video...

Thanks guys, the red forks don't look as good but the ride is allot smother. Had to use the old fork so i could have some front brakes. Exhaust mounted, rear strap brake hooked up to the grip shift, i can use both brakes with one hand and use the grip shift as a e brake when parked. Once i find...

Here's what i've been up to, hope you guys approve? Still have to reroute the exhaust and rig up some front breaks. Thinking i'll use the front wheel off one of my peds. The smaller wheel will only drop me about 2-3". Goes about 15-20mph, the exhaust i have for it will free it up some. 8)
