    My Latest yard sale find...

Wow. I agree, just clean it up. The bike has a bit of historical significance.

    Brooks Saddle

I've resurrected some terrible looking leather with Feibing's Aussie leather conditioner. It's made for saddles. I've only used it on leather upholstery, but it has worked miracles.

Matching Electra Rat Rod matte black paint?

Krylon Rust Tough Semi Flat Black is great paint (looks great and is very durable). It should be a pretty close to the Rat Rod paint.

    MTB info, PLEASE

http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/Bike ... &Type=bike If the bike is still original, it has some ok Deore XT stuff on it. Proflexes are considered junk by the MTBR crowd, but loved by the retrobike crowd. I'd rather have Biopace than Sugino Impel. There is nothing wrong with Biopace as long...

    schwinn 5speed

It is probably worth a restore, as it's probably a Klunker 5 or Spitfire 5.

    If you've seen "Klunkerz"...

It might not be, but there are quite a few 1981s and some 1982s with the chrome biplane fork. First Flight thinks the original forks broke frequently and were replaced with the chrome biplane. Mike Sinyard and company are probably the only people who would know for sure.

    Schwinn Varsity

I like the way that looks. Is that a metallic copper color paint?

    Vintage bicycle repair stand [OLD]

That stand is great. I like the attachment that holds the front wheel straight. Just be careful not to crush the bike's tubes if you ever mount a modern bike in it.

Ultimate Workstand, "Junior" Varsity, old MTB stuff

Yeah, I still have them. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them; they may go on one of my MTBs, or I might sell them to offset the cost of the parts bike. The steerer is decently long since the bike they were on was a larger frame size. They are rad looking on the right bike. :)

It' will be ridden, I just don't know if it will be on MTB or city bike duty...

Darn. Had I known, I would have bought some.

AMP is still around and still services the forks! Surprised to find that out.

Ultimate Workstand, "Junior" Varsity, old MTB stuff

I have wanted an Ultimate Support Pro workstand for a while because it is super compact when folded, but didn't want to shell out $200 for what amounts to a fancy bike holder. One appeared on CL 2 days ago. 20 minutes later, it was mine. I was so excited to pick this up! Next up, a bit of an...

Have you tried that seat out? I always wondered what they were like.

    Dead Goose

I'll trade you the Softride stem you wanted for those wheels! I'm jealous; gotta get one of those ATBs someday. Where did you get the decal set? That Fisher is a lower end bike but is very desirable because of those decals.
