    New Electra Bike owner

Squeaky seats seems to be a common complaint from Electra owners. I changed the seat on mine shortly after I got my Electra. Didn't ride it long enough to hear any creaking or squeaking before I changed the seat. I just didn't find the factory seat all that comfy! :21:

    Bikes from obscure brands.

The frame geometry is different than the Hyper. OP is crank forward, Hyper just has a bent back seat tube. Never saw an OP bike in Walmart, just the Hyper. Must be a regional thing. Thanks.

    Bikes from obscure brands.

Perhaps Ocean Pacific isn't an obscure brand for sports wear, but what about bicycles? My OP Roller. No clue who actually built it As it looks today...

    The Mean Machine - FINISHED!

Finally got the finished thread done. It's been fun and it's been a lot of work. The hardest part was staying on task. LOL

    The Mean Machine

A tribute to '60's-'70's muscle cars. The name is derived from AMC's Rebel Machine and The Machine performance cars, but the bike seems to have developed more of a Mopar flavor... Link to the build thread... https://ratrodbikes.com/threads/the-mean-machine.118342/

    The Mean Machine - FINISHED!

Was doing some yard work and stuff Saturday and went into the shop to cool off. Saw the Mean Machine sitting there in the subdued natural light and snapped a few pictures in the shop. Gotta get the pictures done and write up the finished thread before all the work becomes a DNF.

It looks fine without the lights, but maybe try them attached to the speed frame instead of the grill. A lot of the old hot rods had their headlights mounted down low.

    A Proper Rat Rod

Beautiful bicycle, Jude. Almost too nice to be called a rat. Your build has me looking forward to working on the ratty Raleigh I recently picked up.

    The Mean Machine - FINISHED!

This photography jazz can be harder and more time consuming than the actual build! Here's some test shots... Any thoughts?

    Canada Post frames

I suppose the U.S. Border Patrol and the RCMP will be extra cautious of bike frame smuggling now.

    Murray Beach Comber/AMC VII

I use the one from Walmart, and believe me it didn't cost $500! I have hauled old school cruiser bikes and even my heavier e-bike on it without issue. But then I have only carried one bike at a time with it. Not sure how it would work with a full load of two bikes.

    The Mean Machine - FINISHED!

With apologies to Jan and Dean.... Out back in a rickety old garage, is a ratty old, lime green, Super Stock Dodge... I'm calling the Mean Machine done. Now the hard part, finding cool photo spots for my finished thread. Here's a few detail pictures. A few full view shots...
