    Re: The Quitter Its a prewar shelby. It would have had a "peanut" tank. just google peanut tank shelby and you'll find your bike. that frame might have also taken a "no nose" tank.

    It is a Shelby made bike but it's the Hiawatha version.. The Shelby airflow has a different tank and a straight down tube rather than this one that's crooked. Most people prefer the airflow only because it has a lightning bolt on the tank

    I have no words to describe how much this outpouring of kindness makes me feel. It just serves to stoke the fire under my butt a bit more to get this thing off the ground and in to the hands of people that would ride them.

    thanks! I have those tires on 2 of my bikes, the actual tires on this bike came off of my 14' iver johnson arch bar. i also have them on my 13' new england motorbike.
