Does anybody else look for cool bikes while they are on vacation? I found this in the Rhode Island Craigslist ads this morning. Scored it for only 40 bucks. Sweet deal! It's a 1974 emerald green Schwinn Suburban, 10 speed. I have the exact same one but it's a 1975 model. Whoo hoo!

Found this curbside tonight. It's a Specialized Rockhopper, 7 speed. No seat. It's late and dark but it appears to be in good shape. Googled the model but only found newer ones. Anyone know about these models, and what is the resale value? Tia!

Scored this 1968 Schwinn Typhoon 2 weeks ago. 20 hours of labor to get it to a spit shine. New whitewall tires, tune up, and tons of detailing. Rides great! It was previously left out in the weather for about 10 years so it needed a lot of tlc.

Saw this pop up on Craigslist last night. Paid $75, cool coppertone. Just came home with it. Checked the serial number and she is a 1968. Will be a great spring restoration project for me. Pedals look to be on unoriginal and so do the tires, but everything else looks authentic. Love it...
