    Penny-farthings: an eye-opening experience

    I agree- great post! I'm currently working on a "modern" version-kinda. I started with a 28" unicycle wheel and fork, and am using a 16" rear wheel with a caliper brake. Looks like the seat will be about 40" off the ground, which will be plenty for me- I'm 5' 7". My tall bikes are 44" and 55"...
