Yeah, I admit it, I have a Guv'nor. Because I'm old and fat and ugly.

I just couldn't see those cheesy beige tyres anymore.

Also replaced those naff MTB brake levers:

Next thing to be addressed is that crankset.

Tektro FL750. They take road cables. Look pimp as all get out

Guck. Don't usually think of the term "nice" when i think of cottered cranks.... but being that Pashley is kinda just a knockoff of Nottingham Raleighs, maybe a raleigh cottered crank with the Heron sprocket would look cool....

I thought they originally came with cottered cranks, but now I see they didn't. Instead of changing out the spindle and everything to make cotters work, maybe it would be better to find a classic looking chain wheel for what you already have.

50.4 BCD 6-bolt would look amazing on any bike, but the $$$ is a bit much.... then again, a Guv'nor ain't cheap anyway. If it were me, I'd just take the silly bashring off and see how it looks like that. If it still weren't to my liking, I'd put a classy track crank on there...
