I bought a couple items from the guy and of course asked about bikes for sale. He said "no bikes" and I responded how about some rusty crusty ones on the side yard. He said "no bikes but I have a trampoline in the back. If you want to see it walk through the house" I said sure and went to the backyard. There was a shed with a door ajar not that far from the tramp. Stuck my head in and found the Electra. Walked back out front and said I could not use the tramp but is the Electra for sale? "NO no no, I paid $700 for that bike and it's like a $400 bike now". My response was, wow I can't afford a $400 bike with rust and flat tires but thanks anyway. He responded " how about $100"? I said SOLD! And slapped a c note in his hand so fast he thought I was giving a high five or something. It was hilarious. I'm thinking after a clean up I will start with a asking of $295 and see what happens.
 
I could be wrong, but I believe the Electra was a model called the Jeremy. Couple friends ride them here on the west coast of Canada. Good solid reliable rides. Good score for a C-note!
