i ended up getting these two locally. The Columbia is a 1944 sports tourists girls bike. All parts are black out other than the dogleg crank. This one just needs a skip tooth chain and some rubber and it can be on the road again.
And those hubs are in perfect shape under all that grime.
The Cleveland is something I'm not quite sure about though. It came to me as only a frame, fork, and fenders. The headbadge is different than the other Cleveland ones I've been seeing. This definately was built for 28" wheels. The wheels in the picture belong to the Columbia (26x1.375).
