I built this bike in 8 days for a trip I was taking to Crested Butte. Our "team" during the trip was to be Mad Max themed so I needed a bad looking bike to suit my leather pants, mullet wig, and red goggles. I knew I was going to be riding the bike in a chainless downhill race so I opted to keep both brakes on the bike =).

The tank part was the biggest hurdle. I wanted something unique instead of a standard wood tank. I'm not a welder so I knew wood and epoxy was likely going to be it. In hindsight, I wish I'd used less JB weld and more filler. Sanding the JB down took FOREVER and left me with little time to make other changes/additions to the bike.

I intended to do more work on it after the trip, but I never got around to it so I guess this is it. I might try to take some better pics tonight before the contest closes, but there's a good possibility I'll be busy picking up another bike instead... life of a ratrod'er =Þ.

The paint is spray can truck bed liner and it's proving to be quite durable. Far more durable than my regular spray jobs.

Obligatory pic of me riding it
