Thanks, slow but steady. I should speed up with kids baseball about over. Your is almost done.

So I finally found some film for the real camera. The "polaroid" is not going to cut it for showing off the colors. I am still taking pics with my new HTC Incredible(android phone) as I always have it and uploads to photobucket are easy.

Here is the Better wheel shots and sample section on the frame. Frame paint is Dupicolor Metal Specks-Retro Red. I probably will paint over a grey primer.

Thanks guys. I picked some Slicky G tires to put on these. Looks sharp.

You won't regret it. Definate a fun paint.

Now I just need to the rear wheel painted. Masking sucks.

I took the chrome chainguard, sprocket, stem and handlebars and gave them a brushed nickle look. I found out the hard way how this process works. I took a green scrubby to my shotgun try to get a little rust off the barrel. It took the bluing off. The green scrubby's probably work alot like a course steel wool, but gives it a more subtle look.

yeah that paint is pretty sweet. I have a little trick up my sleeve with this stuff.... and if I ever get my butt in gear on my build, I'll show you :wink:

one trick I will tell ya right now with this stuff, you can alternate between the clear metal specks, back and forth with your colour (I just set one down and pick up the other, not waiting for it to dry) and it really makes it pop in the sun. An effect nearly impossible to photograph I'm sure, so it won't help anyone with their build. :| :lol:

Got the rear wheel and the chain guard paint with same stuff. I started sanding the frame last night because a grinder can't get all the detail. Most of the paint is wore off, so it sands down easy.

Thanks. Primed the frame but gonna wait till warmer weather for the real paint.

Yeh I found the film pretty cheap. My camera seems to never run out.
