I am not an off roader, so bare with me please.
I am fixing up an old Fuji mountain bike like thing for my son. He rides about half his time on unimproved forest trails and on streets around town. I'm trying to find tires that could work either way.
Looking at these Schwalbe Land Cruisers and Vee Rubber Galaxies.
Any thoughts?

Thanks

I've never been disappointed with a Schwalbe tire, and the price sounds reasonable from that seller. I frequently ride the similar Kenda Kross on such surfaces, when I can get them cheap. Don't know much about the Vees--haven't dealt with them before.

I second Schwalbes. I have them on several bikes and I really like them. They're not super light, but who cares? They're durable and the rubber grips well. I don't ride any one bike enough to really wear tires down, so I can't type to their durability, but I can't see them not lasting well, too.
