I see times where there is 2 non drive side bottom bracket cups. That ruins the frame. If you like the frame enough to get it, don't remove that cup. Keep it in because if you remove it, it will destroy the threads even more. Because it is cross threaded, the non drive side cup will be stuck in the drive side threads. Just keep it in there and grease it from the outside-in.
A lot of cheaper bikes have this user error on them. Someone bought a Bridgestone Kabuki with this user error, but they bought it because it is a rare bike with a quill seatpost.
