Maybe rotate the bars back so the straight part at the ends is on a diagonal?

I think I’m going to ditch the 10 speed bars. I took my bike off of the stand to see if I liked it. They will be too low and too far forward for me. So I’ll be searching around for a kool set of bars. I’ve always seen it with wide apehangers

That seat is a perfect match for the frame color! I am glad you are ditching the "bum bars". That's what we call them around hear because many of the homeless guys flip the drop bars up on their rides.

Paint is coming up nice!
I’m using Turtle wax and free microfiber cloths from harbor freight. The paints kinda beat up but I like it that way

Big fan of the turtle wax and cloth final cleaning stage. Really brings back the shine!
