Post bikes with
bad part combinations

Where do we start with this?

bottom bracket gusset
seat stay-chain stay gussets
threadless stem on a fork with a lock nut? yeah, ...?
bolt on rear canti brake mounts.
loop de loop rear brake cable routing.
some sort of micro adjust seat post that must have been attached to the original seat post or turned way down to fit.
third chain ring.
front der clamp too big for the seat tube.
Oh don't forget the rerouted top tube.

so how does a 45 to 50 pound bike ride on single track?

Lets hammer the wrong nut on to the axle. Good for ripping open an ankle:

This was different, rear axle reassembled in the wrong order. The spacer went in before the cone and it was ridden quite a while. Long enough for the spacer to get reshaped by the bearings.

This one is the worst. It is not even done to a crappy bike. At least the rat like dog will cushion you for when the Spinergy Rev X explodes.

You also get a lot of this from the fixed gear community.

Stem adapter isn't that unusual, but the rest...

It reminds me of this. This red one is a great bike.

The only good thing about this is that the rider is using 2 brakes.

I bought this bike and am turning him into a great 10 speed with high end components. His name is Big Schwinn.

The singlespeed I am building is tame now, but when I got it the problems were...
The bars were wrapped totally wrong.
The stem was way to high.
There was only a front brake. (the bike can coast)
The brake and shifter bosses were cut off.
The seatpost was way too big.
The bike has been repainted poorly.
