Mid 80's Schwinn Cruiser. The build thread was posted in Builds.
Chain guard tabs and fender supports on forks were removed. Fixed a few blemishes in frame and fork. Made s new brake bridge and welded it in to get the reach I need to rim Dia Compe MX1000's. Drilled and filed slots to run brake cable through the top tube. Powder Coated bright yellow. Sakae stem, Schwinn headset, original bars from bike(for now), Dia Compe tech 77 locking brake lever, Oddyessey slick cable, Dia Compe MX1000 brakes, Kool Stop Eagle 2 pads, Dia Compe two piece seat post clamp, original seat post, newer Schwinn seat, Schwinn bottom bracket, fresh Ashtabula cranks(new manganese phophste) , Sugino Spider and 41 T Sprocket, barefoot pedals, 18T White Industries Freewheel, Oddyessey Chain, SE Racing chrome double wall aluminum wheelset with stainless spokes and Mohawk style hubs sealed bearings. Sunlite Sandy Beach tires 26x2.5.

Thanks, the guy who powder coated it 15 years ago was just learning, he didn't put a base coat down first, put the copper right over the blasted steel. Mostly on the top tube, but the color is migrating into the steel. I'll need to have it stripped eventually and redone.
