Marry a three speed hub to a coaster, so you can use the 3 speed chain / arm to somehow actuate the brake from the inside? Or a custom rod? At least you'd have access to the inside of the hub.... using just the coaster arm, you'd need a return spring or something. I feel like this is one for...
