Here's another quick build I did last weekend. I have been having this image of a classic hot rod styled cruiser in my mind for a while and went for it when I got the chance. The frame is an unidentified straight bar with no serial numbers. What I like about it is how the seat stay which also serves as the fastener to the seat post flows with the top and seat tubes, unlike classic straight bars where the seat tube extends upward a bit. I got it from my junkyard digging expedition along with the rims.

Here's where I tried fitting the parts from a donor bike to see if it looks good.

The frame was pitted so I took it to a body shop just across our street and have one of the workers there have a go at it but did the sanding myself. The rims just had some surface rust so I just cleaned it with a copper brush and painted them.
