Custom axle nuts

Do any of you guy's run custom axle nuts on your builds, I like the chrome ones that come with the Nexus hubs or sometimes use these.

I have looked into chrome cap "acorn" nuts but haven't bought any yet. They are pricey. I really like the look.

Here are the shimano ones I have,not a true acorn but they may be available at your LBS.
I have also thought of stripping the anodizing off the aluminum acorn style I have and buffing them.
