Western flyer ID

So I'm going a clean up on a friend's old Western Flyer and she thinks it's a 55 but I'm looking for any info on it that I can get. The serial number on the bottom is D6390AC (there is a tiny w stamped inside the C)

Western Flyer was a bicycle sold at Western Auto supply company stores. They did not build their own bicycles, but contracted out to bicycle manufacturers, (CWC, Huffy, Murray). The CW would indicate Cleveland Welding Company, which sold its bicycle division to AMF in 1950 or so.
I have two 1950's Western Flyers, but both were Huffy-built.

That bike is earlier than 55 and the ACw code equates to the year the frame was manufactured. But, for the life of me, I can't remember what year it equates to. Maybe 1950-51? In 52, Cleveland Welding began stamping actual two-digit years along with the Cw, so the bike is at least that old.

Model d hubs are cool after ya rebuild a couple then it's easy.

Yeah today I found out the adjustable cone and lock nut need to be replaced
