Love the look of this Rollfast. I will clean it up and post another pic. It's a Lil crusty on the frame but is shinning up nice. Will be a combo of shiny and ratty at the same time.

It just looks like a hot rod cruiser.

All clean and shiny, yet still ratty. Love the way it turned out. New upholstery and new bars. Everything else just made clean and shiny. The quilted seat with red stitches pulls the hotrod look together. It also has a nice wheel set that cleaned up nice. The crusty marries well with the shiny. Looks like an old rod that's still rollin.

What yous think about this hotrod rollfast cruiser?

Looks 60's , very nice bike also looks to be a Snyder built frame .....

So, what happened at D.P. Harris - in the 1960's (or later)? Didn't DPH once make most of their own Rollfast parts; or did they merely assemble parts?
I see the Murray Ohio drop center rims and the Komet-super hub (also common to Murray and others); was the whole bike a Murray Ohio product?

By the way, on another website, I see that "the Murray bicycle site has been closed".

I can't say with any certainty that the wheels are original. They did come with the bike. Interesting history question.

Rode the hotrod rollfast 15 miles on the B&O trail west of Indianapolis today after work. Great ride for over 50 years old.

Nice cruiser!

Snyder made most of the Rollfast bikes, yours is one of them. I agree it's an early to mid 60's bike. The rims are probably original, made by Murray and the rear hub was made in Germany. That's how the bike was new off the rack, I'll bet. Those rims are in the best shape I've seen for old ones. I would keep the original bars and seat in a box in case these American classics get the recognition they deserve some day. It looks like it will cruise for miles.

The black paint looks great, the best to touch up to look original.
