USE WHAT YA GOT

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Some folks might think you have to have a really sweet 40s era balloon tire bike to create the ultimate Rat Rod. Unfortunately we don’t all have access to such bikes. In the world of Rat Rods…using what ya got is king. Check out forum member salvagebeast’s “Fat Rat Racer” built from a 60s model Schwinn Racer. Even diamond frame bikes can be a good platform for your next project.

WOOD JERRY…WOOD.

Friday, June 25th, 2010

When you’re sitting around contemplating your next bike build, you typically think about your frame and fork first and how you’d like it to turn out in the end. Not many folks say to themselves…”Hey, I think I’ll build it out of wood!”…well, that is except for forum member “dpbrown3000″ from Tempe, AZ. Check out his latest creation, the Driftwood Cruiser and it might have you lookin’ at that old maple tree out in the backyard in a new light.
