    TRADITIONAL Stir crazy

Just a suggestion, if you’re going to use a rack, save the other curved brace, looks better than a straight one

    TRADITIONAL Blue bike too

I’ve been working late and slacking on page 2! Tonight I started digging through the box of parts that came with the bike to see what I can use this rack looks bent to me, the blue is a bit off and the front mount has been hacked, it’s going into the future use pile this truss rod mount was on...

    TRADITIONAL Blue bike too

I solved the bent fork issue by remembering I had this Westfield fork in the pile, it’s off a pre-war bike so it’s era correct. The blue is a bit off but it’s close enough for me

Before and afterovernight in the wood bleach bucket, scrubbed with 0000 steel wool, then rubbed with penetrol and I have a frame ready to start fitting parts! I suppose I could have done all this before the build off and technically been within the rules, but where’s the fun in that?

    TRADITIONAL 🅵🅾🅾🅻🅸🅶🅰🅽 - 1930s Elgin Oriole

Couple years ago I had a front hub that was a bit too narrow for a replica monark fork, I added an extra lock nut to each side, might be easier to deal with than a stack of washers

    TRADITIONAL Blue bike too

2 days in the soap bucket and a few minutes with an old toothbrush and all the grunge is gone, next I mixed up a mild wood bleach mix to see if I can clean up the paint and the chainthen the fun starts!
