Good to see you in on another BO, MC. Or is that BMOC? Welcome aboard! We might need a separate sub group for trike builds this year!

Bring'n da funk wit da Amber shellac! @Wildcat is usually pretty good with the serial numbers. Have to wait till he wakes up, middle of the night in Philippines. I would guess mid-'60s just based on the look.

End of first week of June, just made a decision on the Quadsi build that should be actualized in the next 10 days or so. Can't wait!

Very cool Mr Chad T-rekspert! And those shifters will disappear once you add wheels, saddle, cranks. Natural carbon spacer is sweet, carbon housing on the docket, too?

Got a can of a Creamy White or Light Tan or muted Yellow? I could see a light mist of it over all of it to make it seem like they were added overtime and are just now peeking through. If you want, get a sponge and add some mustard to it and splotch some on in areas over each color and then...

Subtle beauty of black decals on natural carbon. Looks like that cassette is a 10 spd road model. Your'e likely gonna need flat bar road shifter for compatability and smooth shifting. I'm guessing you might go with a 1 x 10 drive train?

I kind of like the messing around with paint. Heck, you already know how to take it off if you don't like it! 😁 You did a great RaT'ina on that OJ Award winner a few years back. Give it a shot, but tgen fer sure use the Dead Flat Clear for a top finish coat.

Great idea on the burgundy base to match! 😍 I think the Strawflower might be discontinued. Couldn't find it at HD, Menards, or Ace Hardware. There is a seller on Amazon that has it though, got mine in 2 days. I highly rec this as a 'final fade'. Really does the trick!

If you use the current chain guard, it would take well to the Satin Strawflower / Satin Cinnamon / Satin Espresso treatment! It has a great base color to start with.

So you're gonna keep it in 'the nude' 'raw' or 'bare' carbon. Sexy.

Looking good Chad! Like the new name too. Check out this site for paint ideas, Trek Project One, you can plug and play with paint, bar tape / shape, components. Might inspire some ideas. https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/project-one/

I did find a 26 x 2.8 version as well. Maybe they billow out to a 3" depending on the rims.

Those tires make my heart skip-ton-a-beat! :inlove: Kind of look like a Vee Tire Co tread I've seen? Really like how they fill up the frame. This stance... They really pull that beefy fork into the frame nicely too. RaT oN~!
