Another little tweak got finally dealt with today. In the last few weeks the CobblestoneRat got quite a lot of roadtime an most of the times with a convertible backpack attached to its rack. Yesterday I had big trouble shifting and when I checked I saw that the little shifting chain had rubbed...

Subscribed! I have this instructable in my favorites list since forever! Great to finally watch someone building it. If somewhere in the future I have access to a good workshop with grinder and welding equipment, I'll try my shot at it as well, but until then I'll watch this one closely!

Took The Wolverine for another 40 km early Sunday morning spin to the Grunewald sandpit and back. About two thirds on (rough Berlin) asphalt and one third light gravel. It was fun. Having coffee and breakfast now and heading to the garden later to enjoy this beautiful sunny day...

The IronPig still had his spiked tires on and as I was servicing the CobblestoneRat I also swapped the tires of the pig... It runs on standard Marathons now for the summer.

Today I took my time to repair the fender. First I searched through my IKEA leftovers and found this part and cut it apart. A little bending And some drilling and filing later, the fender joint was better than before...

This is how around 2700 cyclists on a 1st of May protest ride in Berlin look like, all cramped up in one street as the police stopped us, because we had grown to big of a number so the rules had to be explained one more time to all... And in the other direction... The CobblestoneRat proudly...
