My opening salvo and the hint for a name was all I could offer. No October surprises for this one. I'm learning as much as I can about the Hoppy bikes. So far I haven't seen anything like those pieces. Do you have a picture of how they are used?

Awesome that you found the fenders! It looks great! Keep a close eye on the OA bath. If you leave it too long it will sometimes leave a yellow film on everything that is very difficult to remove.

There won't be any 'personal touches' on this one. The Hoppy belongs to a client and I'll be doing what I call a 'Legacy Restoration' on it. That means I will restore it to look like an original paint survivor. In other words, it will (hopefully) look like the original factory paint after years...

I made a container just big enough to hold the rack. It will also work for the chainguard which is a little smaller. I tested the trough with a gallon of water to see if the depth was enough to cover the rack and it was going to be too shallow. So I used some packing peanuts to fill the void...
