    TRADITIONAL Twin Stik Spitfire

Got the 24" fork yesterday. Will need to add some threads. Don't have my 1x24 die at home. I hope it is in my tool box at work. Then paint.

I would like to call out @BDC with his very cool Cyclo derailleur on "Super Elliot"

Good that @Chad T mentioned about shorter chain. Years ago when I got a Cyclo derailleur, I did research. Don't remember who, maybe Sheldon Brown wrote about keeping the chain as short as possible. Just enough to get over top of low gear. The Cyclo was designed to hang off the hub axle, keeping...

Been a week, I better check in, Ebay seller refunded my money for the fork. So I bought another, waiting for it to show up. Some old pictures from Trexlertown PA:

@The Renaissance Man Works great on chrome plated parts. Turns some cad plated parts gray or black. Of course, it works well on plain steel too.

    TRADITIONAL It's SUPER ELLIOT!

Cyclo sold a kit to add a 3 gear cog to your 3 speed Sturmey along with a derailleur for 1/8" chain. This gave you 9 gears, with a couple overlapping. You could also use that kit on a coaster brake hub. The chain was kept short, just long enough to get on top of low gear. Pedal back for the...

    TRADITIONAL Twin Stik Spitfire

Well the fork saga continues.... I received the "24 inch" fork today in the mail. Not for a 24" but for a 26" tire. "Balls..." oh already said that. So I sent the seller a message. I could use the Murray fork, or a 20" tire on the 26" Schwinn fork. Take a chance on another on line purchase....

You are welcome. I know the whole quote as, "Balls" said the queen, " if I had two I'd be king"

    TRADITIONAL Twin Stik Spitfire

Well after searching today I finally found the black fork I knew I had. Elated at first, then I realized it's a 20" fork, "balls said the Queen." No big deal since I've been looking for parts the first 3 weeks this month and not finding the needed fork I ordered one off Ebay last week. Didn't...

Decals transfer (frame to be painted)

What decals are you trying to reproduce? The chain guard is flat, take a couple pictures and measure the length and height. Places like Fast Signs can reproduce them. Decals that roll around the seat tube, or other tubes are much harder to reproduce with pictures. Members here like @Chuy may be...
