I'm throwing my hat in the ring with my upcoming build. This frame and fork was made by my friend at Custom Coastal Cruisers. It's currently getting bars built for it then I'll have it to build my own way. I'm starting to collect parts for it, I'll be updating this thread with build photos from...
A lot of where it is was buttoned up in the last month. its ridable but raw metal, handlebars still need to be made, then I'll get it, add my parts and get it powder coated.
I wanted to enter a custom bike, it's in the final stages of fabrication (being done by someone else) and I will be building it out once I get it. It will be a joint entry and I have progress pictures of it being built. I'm assuming it would be an unlimited build. Thanks
I honestly wish I was furloughed or had to work from home during the pandemic, but my work has been busier than ever and I haven't had much free time or energy to devote to it.
I came to the conclusion a couple weeks ago that I'm just not able to get the bike finished by the deadline. Its certainly getting done though. Is there any way to have my thread moved to the general "builds" forum?
Not sure of the frame builder, Charlie Kelly thinks it might be his old Craig Mitchell, but that's not confirmed. Yeah, newer suntour thumbs, but they look the part. The suntour levers let you grab a lot of brake, that helps slow it down.
